This is a 100% authentic Native American made tool, thousands of years old. Late Archaic to early Woodland, 4000-2500 B.P. Many people would refer to this as an arrowhead however that is actually not true for the most part. Arrowheads are actually very small, so many of the things that are sold as arrowheads are actually knife blades or some other tool, which is the case for this piece. Many of the Native American artifacts that we have were sold to us by the people who collected them and luckily they kept track of where they found them. This is great for two reasons, one we know without a doubt that they are real artifacts, and two we know where they come from.
This one is made out of Quartz, which is a rarer material to find these artifacts made out of because it is much harder. This one was found in New York.
