This is a 100% authentic Native American made tool, thousands of years old. Period Late Archaic, 4000-3000 B.P.- This would be referred as a blade. A medium to large size contracted teamed point. Blade is broad and can be convex or straight, depending on how much it has been resharpened. Shoulder are tapered to straight. Stem is contracting and truncated to rectangular Basal edge is straight to slightly convex. Areas that one could find these would be around Eastern Pennsylvania, Northern New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
