Dragons blood is a type of jasper composed of green epidote and red Piemontite. This type of stone is only found in Western Australia. This stone has a trigonal crystal structure and is a 7 on the mohs hardness scale. Some people confused this stone with Bloodstone, they are not the same. Blood stone is just a mixture of different jaspers along with African blood stone which has Seftonite present as well.
