Citrine varies from dark golden brown to a lighter yellow gold. This piece has a candle quartz formation going on and when you turn it their are several rainbows throughout the main crystal point. Rainbows are formed when crystals has fractures inside the stone itself. It causes the light to be reflected in different directions and hence the rainbow. This piece comes out of the Congo.
