Say hello to our flame aura quartz, covered with a coating of cobalt, titanium and or niobium. The outer layer of this quartz has fused with its metal coating to produce an iridescent shell. This combined effort, between rock and metal, produces a sheen of purples, blues, yellows, greens and more; depending on the angling when under light, you can access a variety of rainbow colors.
On this specific specimen, the aura coating is made evident by the clear transition from, its opalescent banding on its side to the druzy quartz underneath.
